Join Bankwest’s Digital Acquisition & Engagement Chapter, where technology is transforming how customers discover, join and engage with banking products and services. As a Staff Software Engineer - .NET Full Stack, you’ll provide technical leadership across enterprise-scale platforms, shaping the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable and customer-focused digital experiences. From cloud-native applications and microservices to event-driven and API-first solutions, you’ll influence the engineering decisions that power Bankwest’s digital future.
Working across backend services, webplatforms and product teams, you’ll champion engineering excellence through modern DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, observability and quality engineering. Beyond delivering great software, you’ll mentor engineers, drive technology modernisation and help define the future direction of our platforms. With opportunities to apply emerging AI and GenAI capabilities, you’ll play a key role in accelerating innovation, improving delivery outcomes and creating meaningful impact for customers at scale.

Provide technical and strategic leadership across enterprise-scale platforms, influencing architecture, engineering standards, and technology direction.
Thrive in a "you build it, you own it" culture, owning the full software development lifecycle from design to production support.
Have deep expertise building secure, scalable, high-performance distributed systems using NET Core, , and C#.
Design cloud-native solutions on AWS using microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and API-first principles.
Bring strong full stack engineering capability across React, Next.js, Angular, backend services, and modern API development.
Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD automation, containerisation, and modern DevOps practices.
Champion operational excellence through observability, monitoring, performance optimisation, and resilient system design.
Apply rigorous quality engineering practices including TDD, automated testing, performance testing, and release automation.
Mentor engineers and collaborate across product, platform, and engineering teams while leveraging AI and GenAI technologies to accelerate delivery and innovation.

We don't expect you to know everything, but experience in several of the following will set you up for success:
Back End: .NET Core, C#, backend services development.
FrontEnd: React, Next.js, , Angular frontend development. .
API Development: REST APIs, , Serverless Services using AWS Lamdas, AWS Step Functions and Temporal.
Architecture: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-First Design.
Cloud: AWS cloud engineering and cloud-native application design.
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
DevOps & Automation: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, release automation.
Observability: SRE (SLO/SLI’S), Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty,, Splunk and Observe logging.
Testing & Quality: TDD, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, API Testing.
Quality & Performance Tools: JMeter, Postman.
AI/GenAI: Claude CLI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Agentic AI, RAG architectures.
