As a senior manager, content strategy, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the content strategy to amplify our brand narrative and business priorities while elevating the partner experience. You will collaborate across teams to deliver compelling stories and campaigns that drive positive sentiment and bring priority messages to life.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an editorial calendar for communications channels and be a key liaison between external communications and storytelling teams, ensuring alignment across campaigns, evergreen content, and enterprise priorities. You will partner closely with creative operations, insights, and reporting teams to deliver work on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.

As a senior manager, content strategy, you will…
Content Strategy & Planning
- Co-manage the editorial calendar for digital communications channels.
- Develop and deliver content strategies for campaigns and evergreen content that align with brand priorities and business objectives.
- Build strategy presentations for review by leaders.
- Partner with insights and reporting teams to integrate data-driven recommendations into content plans.
- Partner with the channel strategy team for channel optimization opportunities and planning
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between external communications and storytelling teams.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for leveraging external-owned channels.
- Maintain consistent engagement with assigned business “beats” to anticipate needs, recommend evergreen ideas, and nurture relationships.
Project Management
- Facilitate strategist team meetings to ensure alignment
- Collaborate with creative operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage intake forms, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed of timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide weekly updates to stakeholders for ongoing projects
Performance & Reporting
- Ensure reporting (recap) and insights (before work kicks off) requests are submitted and fulfilled for campaigns and initiatives.
- Support post-campaign retrospectives and wrap-up reports to inform future strategies.
Measuring your success
- increased message recall and positive sentiment across external channels.

We’d love to hear from people with:
- 6+ years in communications, content strategy, or related field.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, external communications, and digital channels.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
- Skilled in building presentations and communicating complex ideas clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
