About the Role
This role will be responsible for the delivery of capital works and refurbishment projects in line with the annual capital plan across the Estia Health portfolio. The role will manage the planning, design and delivery of fit for purpose residential aged care projects, while monitoring and reporting on progress according to established parameters for budget, quality and program.
The Estia Health portfolio is national and the role will require travel.
The ideal person will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager role, with a proven track record delivering medium to large-scale capital works, construction, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including familiarity with state-based building codes, planning requirements, and approval frameworks.
- The ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to solve problems and meet deadlines by applying a resourceful “can do” attitude and be able to successfully interpret project briefs and adopt specific requirements to each project.
- Experience managing project budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost controls to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
- Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
