The Growth Support Data Specialist supports the ability of our firm to operate as a data-driven organization by maintaining accuracy and integrity of customer and prospect data, providing training and adoption assistance for the firm's data and research platform(s), and providing user assistance and reporting services for all areas of the firm. With guidance, the growth support data specialist demonstrates the ability to manage the needs of their teams and stakeholders with proficient time management, problem solving and customer service skills.
Serve as primary resource for customer relationship management (CRM) database support across the firm.
Support and encourage the training and adoption of data tools.
Provide assistance capturing account, contact, opportunity and activity data in CRM.
Provide assistance with ad hoc pipeline, industry or market data reports, company research and dashboard coordination requests for industry or local market users.
Respond to standard requests from national in-take portal.
Develop and maintain specialized knowledge of firm data platforms to provide unique support for technically complex data and report requests.
Adhere to and educate others on firm data integrity policies and procedures.
Acquire specialized training and be educated on the proper execution of technical CRM tasks restricted only to those within the growth support data team.
Digital platform training
Provide end user training on adoption and use of firm data tools.
Talent and team development
Regularly engage, participate, and contribute to group discussions and activities within the focused area, such as industry, line of business or local market growth teams.
Collaborate effectively with the growth support leaders, team members, other ESS subfunctions and other internal firm client service teams to ensure business needs are met.
Provide mentorship to colleagues and supports a collaborative team environment.
Education
Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in related field
Technical/Soft Skills
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of tools, resources and technology required with assigned responsibilities
- Proficient customer relationship management software skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, ability to learn programs/software utilized by the firm
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills and experience
- Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes and handouts, etc.
- Effective organization, prioritization and time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a related field or area
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership
