Summary:

The Community Voice Lab Digital Producer position starts September 3rd, 2026 through May 30, 2027. The purpose of the position is to assist the Director of the Community Voice Lab in executing a partnership with WETA PBS. The Digital Producer will oversee the deliverables process as WETA seeks to broadcast and stream AU student films produced with the Community Voice Lab. This position is made possible by a private funding donated to AU SOC and the Community Voice Lab.

Essential Functions:

• Oversight of post-production deliverables for student film series to be aired on PBS.

• Coordinate with WETA and Community Voice Lab staff to ensure project deadlines and broadcast requirements are met.

• Track and organize student film submissions, production materials, and required documentation for broadcast and streaming.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.

• Up to 10 hours per week. It is highly dependent on when students deliver their projects and when WETA asks for specific deliverables.

• This is a temporary part-time position ending on or before 05/30/2027.

• Continuation of the program/position is contingent upon external funding.

Salary Range:

• $20.00 per hour.

           

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or equivalent.

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
