Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute daily settlement and operations relating to FX, Money Markets, Financial Futures and Derivative i.e. IRS, CCS, Exotic options • Handle the daily operation in relation to CCP clearing • Construct CHATS/ SWIFT Payments • Assist in automation of some manual work processes and participate in projects that support the business initiatives of business units • Provide operational support in regards to servicing internal & external trading counterpart • Provide back up to other colleagues

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above is preferred;
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience with experience in Treasury Settlement is preferred;
• In-depth knowledge of the best banking practices in various banking products;
• Good understanding of Treasury Products especially fixed income product, Physical commodities, IRS, FX & MM;
• Experience in Central Clearing processing and HKTR reporting;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
