The Medical Assistant roles assist with direct patient care, and perform specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.
Assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School graduate and successful completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program or
Minimum 1-year total experience of Medical Assisting experience; Military Medic Training or EMT-Paramedic Training.
0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations preferred
Current BLS Certification and/or experience with EMRs preferred
