The Program Associate is a grant funded position within Brooklyn Public Library’s Adult Learning Program department. The Program Data Entry Clerk will perform general administrative support for the Adult Learning Education (ALE) grant. Administrative tasks and day to day activities include: data entry, creating and maintaining electronic tracking systems via ASISTS; filing; assisting with program registrations as needed. The program seeks someone who will be responsible for providing phone and/or email support to program data staff and will work closely with key program data staff. In addition, the program associate will process and enter all data for all ALE classes (15 per cycle) for three quarters.
This is a grant funded position and renewal is based on performance and program outcomes through June 30, 2027.
Pay Rate: 25 per hour
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of program data reports for all ALE classes (15 per quarter)
Data entry in electronic databases and ASISTS managed databases
Triage telephone calls from prospective patrons.
Frequent interaction with program staff & program participants
Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Minimum high school diploma and/or HSE, Bachelors degree preferred.
· Knowledge of grant funded programs and experience with successfully implementing them
· Strong computer skills, self starters, highly organized, and willing to attend professional development training on site or off site.
· High proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
· Must be willing to travel between program sites to perform the duties of the position from any site
· Available to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays as required
· Specific experience with ASISTS and Salesforce databases. Experience not just entering data, but running and analyzing data reports and taking action to improve data quality and outcomes
· Must have strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines as needed, work in a high paced environment, take initiative and work independently with high standards.
