About the Role

Minerva is looking for an experienced Biostatistician to support our clinical research projects through statistical analysis, data interpretation, and research reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of statistics and clinical research, with the ability to work with clinical data and collaborate with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze clinical research and study data using appropriate statistical methods.

  • Provide statistical support during the planning and design of clinical studies.

  • Perform sample size and power calculations when required.

  • Prepare and support Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs).

  • Conduct statistical analysis and interpret study results.

  • Prepare statistical tables, graphs, and reports.

  • Review data to identify errors, trends, inconsistencies, and unusual results.

  • Work closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, QA, and other teams.

  • Clearly communicate statistical findings to clinical and non-statistical team members.

  • Support preparation of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and research publications.

  • Ensure statistical activities follow approved protocols, SOPs, and applicable clinical research standards.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of statistical analyses.

  • Support data reviews, quality checks, audits, and regulatory requirements when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in biostatistics, clinical research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments.

  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.

  • Good understanding of clinical trials and clinical research processes.

  • Hands-on experience with statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, Python, or Stata.

  • Strong Excel and data-handling skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organization.

  • Experience preparing or reviewing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs).

  • Experience working with clinical trial datasets.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research guidelines.

  • Familiarity with CDISC, SDTM, or ADaM is an advantage.

  • Experience with SAS or R will be preferred.
