The Team

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Planning team is responsible for driving the commercial performance of both Ecommerce and Retail Stores across Europe. Operating in 26 countries, the team supports one of the fastest-growing areas of the business, ensuring the right products are available at the right time while maximizing sales, profitability, and inventory efficiency.

Working closely with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance, the team plays a critical role in delivering sustainable growth through data-driven planning and commercial decision-making.

The Role

As an FP Planner, you will be responsible for the merchandise planning of the Footwear, Accessories, and Licensed Products divisions across the European DTC business. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning process, combining strategic planning with in-season trading to drive sales, optimize inventory, and maximize profitability.

This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to translate insights into commercial actions. You'll also contribute to improving planning processes, reporting, and tools that enable better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Trading

  • Own divisional pre-season planning and monitor key business KPIs throughout the season.
  • Build and manage sales, stock, markdown, and margin forecasts through the WSSI process.
  • Partner with Merchandising to review in-season performance and identify opportunities to maximize sales while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Identify and coordinate stock transfer opportunities across channels.
  • Review seasonal intake requirements to optimize stock flow.
  • Manage in-season and Never-Out-of-Stock (NOS) replenishment forecasts to improve conversion and full-price sell-through.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce weekly, monthly-to-date, year-to-date, and seasonal trade analyses covering sales, stock, markdown, and margin performance across countries and product divisions.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses to support commercial decision-making.
  • Continuously improve existing planning reports and reporting efficiency.
  • Test new planning tools and provide feedback to support process improvements.

Merchandising Partnership

  • Manage divisional hindsight reviews, buy budgets, and range plans using historical performance and future commercial opportunities.
  • Support buy sign-off and buy placement in partnership with Merchandising.
  • Lead size analysis and recommend sizing strategies.
  • Conduct post-buy evaluations and identify learnings for future seasons.
  • Participate in divisional trading and planning meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a commercially minded planner who enjoys turning data into actionable insights. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build strong partnerships across functions, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and thrive on delivering results.

You'll bring:

  • Approximately 3–4 years of merchandise planning or commercial planning experience, preferably within retail or fashion.
  • A degree in Business, Fashion Management, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and planning tools.
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
