Description
INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the Intermountain West. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Office Manager at the IFA Distribution Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee payroll, scheduling, time and attendance management. Conduct performance reviews according to company schedules
- Actively engaged in Inventory Control program. Continuously improve and maintain DC inventory accuracy by measuring established standards and procedures; making necessary adjustments as needed. Position manages all returns and crediting.
- Manages all office productivity by measuring performance and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
- Responsible for daily cash settlement/reconciliation, expense invoicing and daily service level reporting
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, management, vendors and colleagues
- Partner with HR to provide new hire training, update and maintain policies and personnel files as necessary. Ensure policies and procedures are followed and current
- Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information
- Build and maintain a positive team environment, by providing training and coaching to all personnel. Position will be responsible for updating procedural guidebook (SOP)
- Coordinate between DC and accounts payable/accounts receivable. Facilitate purchase order vs. vendor invoice price variances in a predetermined measurable amount of time.
- Must be willing to be flexible with schedule and other duties as assigned
- Prepare for annual audits and procedures
- Monitor and queue up outgoing shipping orders and fix any errors
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with SAP, WMS, Microsoft Office, timekeeping, and payroll systems preferred. Must have proven management experience. Associates degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain or equivalent work experience.
