Job Summary

As a Production Line Leader, you’ll oversee daily packaging line operations, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Line Leader will coordinate workflows, support training for production associates, and maintain accurate packaging documentation—all while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. The Line Leader serves as a bridge between production teams and management, ensuring clear communication, smooth operations, and full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

On-Site Expectations

• 100% on-site position.
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.

Responsibilities

Line Operations & Oversight

• Oversee daily activities on the packaging line to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Verify adherence to all packaging specifications and GMP requirements.
• Support smooth handoffs between shifts and maintain open communication across teams.

Training & Team Development

• Train and mentor packagers to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Provide real-time feedback and support to improve team performance.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to production goals.

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete all packaging-related forms and documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve non-conformances or deviations.
• Ensure production data is recorded in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
• 3+ years of working inside a Pharmaceutical cGMP environment is required for consideration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, or climbing stairs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for specific job duties to be performed. Such personal protective equipment may include, but not limited to safety eyewear, hearing protection, various types of respirators/breathing apparatus, lab coats, full protective body coverings, various types of gloves, etc. Other tasks involving elevated work may require the use of a body harness and lanyard. Additionally, the employee may be required to operate an industrial vehicle.
