About the Role 

Join TD-SYNNEX’s Data Practice team as a Data Engineer and become part of the central engineering force that powers our Customer Data Platform (CDP) serving millions of customers across Europe. You'll be at the heart of our AI and data-driven transformation, designing and operating the shared backend that enables Campaign & Customer Analytics, E-commerce Platform and Partner & Channels Management with data driven insights. 

As EU Data Practice Data Engineer, you'll work in direct ownership of critical shared components, ensuring pipeline reliability while supporting business domains that process massive data volumes daily. You'll be part of exciting initiatives directly contributing to TD-SYNNEX’s position as the world's biggest technology distributor.  

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while delivering measurable business impact through robust, scalable data engineering solutions. 

We tackle challenges from areas such as: 

• Marketing Campaign Operations - Real-time campaign automation, multi-system integrations, and A/B testing frameworks processing 140K+ monthly tasks 

• Customer Analytics - Churn prediction models, real-time scoring systems, and unified customer data platform management 

• E-commerce Intelligence - ML-driven product recommendations, personalization engines, and web platform optimization 

• Partner & Channel Management - Automated targeting algorithms, vendor rebate processing, and multi-tier relationship systems 

• Data Infrastructure - Cross-platform reliability (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure) managing 200+ schemas with 95%+ uptime targets 

In this role you will be 

• Building AI-powered data platforms with MLOps frameworks, automated monitoring, and intelligent pipeline systems that self-heal and reduce manual work 

• Enriching data sets that power analytics and insights by introducing new data sources, while supporting integration of data science analytics outputs to business channels 

• Engineering enterprise-scale data pipelines processing 100K+ monthly tasks across real-time campaigns, customer analytics, and e-commerce recommendations 

• Developing cutting-edge automation using AI coding assistants and agentic frameworks to eliminate repetitive tasks and boost engineering productivity 

• Engineering frameworks to streamline management of AI agents delivering insight from integrated detests to end users 

• Enabling environment optimization initiatives implementing DevOps practices that ensure 99% uptime across 200+ database schemas 

Skills & knowledge you bring include  

• 3+ years of applied data engineering experience 

• Strong SQL proficiency with complex joins, subqueries, and data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling)  

• Python programming expertise including data wrangling, object-oriented programming, and automation for large-scale datasets 

• Cloud data platform experience. Knowledge of Azure cloud stack is a plus. 

• Databricks platform knowledge covering Unity Catalog, workflows, and compute management  

• Apache Spark/PySpark proficiency: Distributed data processing, DataFrame operations, Spark SQL, and integration with Databricks platform 

• DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control (Git), and deployment strategies  

• Stakeholder communication skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications and present insights  

• Problem-solving approach with systematic incident resolution and cross-platform integration experience  

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related STEM field is a plus.
