Job Description SummaryThe Lead Learning Strategist leads the learning strategy for the Enterprise Sales and Service Portfolio, partnering with senior business leaders, HR partners, and learning teams to identify capability needs, shape portfolio priorities, and design strategic learning solutions that drive business outcomes. This role translates business strategy into scalable learning and capability plans, with a focus on sales effectiveness, service excellence, leader readiness, and teammate performance. The Lead Learning Strategist manages complex initiatives, influences cross-functional stakeholders, and provides strategic direction to ensure learning investments are aligned to enterprise priorities and measurable business impact.
*****Position has in office expectations 5 days each week and can be located in our Truist office in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC*****
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implements strategic learning and development strategies and goals established by Senior Management and Executives.
2. Leads the development and delivery of comprehensive training curricula, materials, and programs aligned with organizational strategy and teammate development goals.
3. Analyzes complex learning needs and designs innovative, scalable learning solutions to address skill gaps and business challenges.
4. Communicates with third-party training providers to ensure quality, relevance, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Administers the delivery and continuous improvement of internal and external training programs, ensuring high engagement and measurable impact.
6. Maintains detailed training records, compliance documentation, and metrics to monitor program effectiveness and regulatory adherence.
7. Collaborates with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to lead learning initiatives and integrate learning technologies.
8. Provides guidance, coaching, and direction to lower-level professionals and project teams involved in training design and delivery.
9. Manages major/complex learning and development projects, programs, or processes that span across multiple teams.
10. Champions the adoption of innovative learning technologies and platforms to enhance training accessibility and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
2. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in learning and development or related human resources functions.
3. Deep expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and strategic training program management.
4. Project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Advanced graduate degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
2. Experience in the financial services industry.
3. Sales leadership experience.
4. Sales leadership training strategy design experience.
5. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as SuccessFactors.
6. Experience with eLearning development tools such as Lectora or Captivate.
7. Professional Learning Delivery certifications or equivalent.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
9. Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and processes.
