Position Summary:

The Retail Media Campaigns Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of retail media campaigns, ensuring successful delivery against service level agreements (SLAs), campaign objectives, and client expectations.

As a key contributor to an emerging Retail Media Network, this position requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, creative thinking and analytical skills. The Retail Media Campaigns Specialist serves as the central point of coordination across sales, creative, analytics, media partners, and technology teams to ensure campaigns launch accurately, perform efficiently, and deliver measurable business results.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Here’s what you’ll do: 

Campaign & Vendor Management

· Serve as the vendor’s point of contact throughout the campaign lifecycle.

· Communicate proactively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding campaign status, timelines, requirements, and deliverables.

· Track vendor commitments, campaign milestones, and key deliverable dates within campaign management systems.

· Own campaign timelines across all media channels, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.

· Escalate risks, dependencies, and potential delays to appropriate stakeholders and recommend solutions.

Project Management & Campaign Execution

· Manage day-to-day campaign operations from brief submission through activation, optimization, and reporting.

· Partner with internal and external teams to ensure campaign deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

· Provide campaign guidance and coordination across sales, creative, analytics, media, and merchandising teams.

· Distribute regular campaign status updates, highlighting timelines, deliverables, risks, and performance trends.

· Collaborate with Creative Services to develop engaging, on-brand assets that align with campaign objectives and client expectations.

· Coordinate campaign activation across all assigned media channels and ensure quality assurance processes are completed prior to launch.

· Monitor campaign delivery and proof of performance to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.

· Help establish and document best practices, workflows, and campaign operating procedures.

· Partner with Insights & Analytics to develop client-ready post-campaign reports and performance summaries.

Technology & Tools Enablement

· Evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of marketing and campaign management technologies.

· Maintain campaign management systems and troubleshoot operational issues as needed.

· Support user adoption of tools and technologies through training, documentation, and best-practice guidance.

· Continuously assess emerging retail media technologies and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

· Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

· Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Here’s what you’ll need:  

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or related field.

· Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

· 3-5+ years of experience in digital media, campaign management, digital marketing, media planning, or retail media advertising.

· Experience working within an agency, Retail Media Network (RMN), retailer, grocery retailer, or related environment preferred.

· Experience with the following platforms is preferred: Project Management (Basecamp, Asana, Monday), ad serving (DCM, Criteo, CitrusAd), DSP (DV360, TTD), and paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Google, Pinterest and TikTok).

Skills & Abilities

· Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

· Exceptional project management and organizational abilities with demonstrated success managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

· Understanding of digital advertising channels, media planning, campaign execution, and marketing technologies.

· Knowledge of retail media metrics and KPIs.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills preferred.

· Experience with CRM, marketing automation, campaign management, and reporting tools.
