Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler / Inventory Specialist and play a key role in supporting manufacturing and engineering operations. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for receiving, handling, labeling, stocking, and transporting materials to ensure products and projects move efficiently through the organization. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support shipping and receiving activities, and contribute to a well-organized, high-performing stockroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and collaborating across multiple teams.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and components
Label, package, and prepare materials for storage or production use
Stock, handle, issue, and kit materials to support production and engineering activities
Support shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and transaction processing
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory control activities
Coordinate freight shipments and assist with logistics activities
Ensure materials are properly stored, identified, and handled according to established procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, stockroom, or logistics environment preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
