Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Manager to provide technical and after-sales support for solar energy and energy storage solutions. The role will be responsible for troubleshooting product-related issues, coordinating technical support, training engineers, and ensuring effective resolution of customer complaints. The company offers solutions across residential ESS, commercial & industrial ESS, telecom backup, UPS, and lithium battery systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage after-sales technical support and coordinate the resolution of customer product complaints and technical issues.
- Assign and coordinate technical engineers for troubleshooting, site visits, installations, and product-related complaints.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to lithium batteries, BMS, inverters, ESS systems, and system communication.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, specifications, installation procedures, and system configurations.
- Conduct regular technical training for engineers, installers, and relevant internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
- Identify recurring technical problems and conduct root-cause analysis to improve product and service quality.
- Document common technical issues and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Maintain records of technical complaints, resolutions, warranty cases, and service activities.
- Coordinate with the sales, technical, R&D, and product teams to escalate complex issues and support timely solutions.
- Collect field feedback and recommend improvements in products, processes, and after-sales services.
- Ensure all technical activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the solar energy, battery, ESS, or renewable energy industry.
- Hands-on experience with solar systems, lithium batteries, BMS, inverters, or energy storage systems.
- Previous experience in technical support, after-sales service, installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting will be preferred.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, technical specifications, and product manuals.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites when required.
