Caregiver (Part-time 27 hours per week) - Libertyville, IL

Position Summary:

Caregiver needed for an elderly female client in Libertyville, IL. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, patient, and experienced in providing personal care and household support. Previous experience providing care to elderly clients is required.

Schedule & Authorized Hours

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, if needed

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist the client with daily showers and personal hygiene
• Support mobility; client uses a walker
• Walk with the client outside for approximately one hour every day
• Ensure the client's safety during walking and mobility
• Serve prepared lunch and clean up after lunch
• Perform light housekeeping, including bathroom and bedroom cleaning
• Do laundry as needed
• Observe the client's condition, mood, and behavior
• Report any changes or concerns to the appropriate person

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for elderly clients is required
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
• Ability to safely assist with mobility, including use of a walker and wheelchair
• Reliable, dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Ability to follow care instructions and communicate changes or concerns appropriately
