Your Role

  • AFC Governance lead and Quality Assurance.
  • Continuous advice on the enhancement of products for existing cooperation partners from the various business units.
  • Support with the on-boarding of new cooperation partners and products.
  • Assessing of Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) and Modification of Operational Processes and Structure (MOPS).
  • Preparation and implementation of training courses.
  • Monitoring the performance of cooperation partners with regard to AFC compliance issues and communication with the respective partner managers.
  • Extension of the documentation of processes.
  • Instruction and professional support for employees and cooperation partners.
  • Coordination of BaFin requests and Internal and/or External Auditors.
  • Preparation of Annual AFC Report, German ExCo report governance.

  •  Extensive experience (5+ years) in anti-financial crime compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on advisory and strategy development.
  • In-depth knowledge of German and EU regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud prevention.
  • Detailed expertise in fraud, sanctions and embargo related topics.
  • Proven track record of leading successful AFC initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, and implementation of controls.
  • Experiences with local regulators is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, different priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) preferred.
  • A good understanding of AI-driven solutions 
  • Fluency in English and German languages skills is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
