Chief Marketing Officer (m/f/d)

For our partner Pawy Fresh Pet Food Sàrl – a Swiss e-commerce company specialising in fresh, natural food for dogs and cats – we are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (m/f/d). With your strong track record in growth marketing, your ability to build and scale high-performing marketing functions and your data-driven approach to customer acquisition, retention and brand development, you will play a key role in shaping Pawy’s next phase of growth. ## Tasks

• Definition and leadership of Pawy’s growth and marketing strategy, translating business objectives into scalable initiatives for acquisition, revenue growth and brand development
• Development of creator and customer communities, including the “Pawy Fam”, to strengthen engagement around the brand
• Development and optimisation of the full growth funnel, from awareness and acquisition to conversion, retention and customer lifetime value
• Ownership of performance marketing and growth initiatives, with data-driven optimisation of CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, AOV and retention
• Leadership of the marketing team and external partners across creative, content, copywriting, media buying and other growth functions, as well as close collaboration with founders and cross-functional teams
• Establishment of a testing and experimentation culture, using analytics and AI-driven solutions to improve campaigns and customer journeys
• Strengthening of brand positioning and customer engagement across all touchpoints
• Development of scalable marketing processes and performance frameworks, including reporting, attribution and campaign measurement

## Requirements

• Min. 5 years of professional experience as a e-commerce Chief Marketing Officer, VP Marketing or in a comparable Senior Marketing Leadership role, with exposure to scaling high-growth DTC e-commerce businesses
• Hands-on marketing leadership experience, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams, managing agencies and driving sustainable growth across multiple acquisition channels
• Deep expertise in performance marketing, paid social/search, email marketing, analytics, attribution, AI tools, funnel optimisation and A/B testing
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end e-commerce funnel, including CRO, lifecycle marketing and key commercial metrics such as CAC, LTV and AOV
• Experience in building consumer brands, driving creative strategy, social media and community growth, AI-enabled marketing initiatives and automations, as well as applying customer psychology frameworks such as Eugene Schwartz’s Customer Awareness stages or the Motive Compass concept
