About the Role
We are excited to launch new roles in our Transport division to support our two new long-term Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) maintenance contracts awarded by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.
The Victoria West ITS Maintenance Contract will see our teams maintain more than 4,500 ITS assets across 27 Local Government Areas, covering around a third of metropolitan Melbourne and extending west to the South Australian border. We also have the Motorway Communications Network Contract, which connects more than 2,000 roadside devices including lane use management signs, variable speed limit signs, freeway ramp signals, CCTV and sensor technologies, while also connecting private road operators with Victoria’s transport control system.
About the role
As our Assurance & Improvement Coordinator, you will coordinate the contract’s integrated contract management system (ICMS), assurance program and continuous improvement processes so that contract activities are controlled, auditable and aligned with approved plans, procedures and performance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
ICMC and document control – maintain the management system, including document control, records and SharePoint repositories, while coordinating document reviews, approvals, training and ongoing compliance updates.
Audit and assurance - deliver contract audit and assurance activities across operational, commercial, technical, data and HSEQ controls, conducting assessments, tracking corrective actions and reporting on compliance, risks and control effectiveness.
Non-conformance and improvement - coordinate non-conformance, corrective action and continuous improvement processes, analysing trends to drive systemic improvements and supporting the implementation and tracking of innovation initiatives and benefits.
Program plans and readiness - maintaining program governance and planning controls by managing plan reviews, implementation assurance and readiness activities, ensuring approved requirements are embedded into operational processes and supported through training and audits.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience in quality, assurance, systems or continuous improvement within infrastructure, transport, utilities, construction or maintenance services industries.
You may also have:
Relevant qualification in quality, auditing, business, engineering or civil construction (ISO 9001 auditor certification is highly regarded).
Current Victorian driver’s licence.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and integrated management systems, audit and corrective-action practices.
Strong document control, analysis, report writing and facilitation skills.
Ability to influence frontline and management teams to embed consistent processes.
