SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources team while supporting the Human Resources Manager with department initiatives and business needs.
This position partners with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on team member relations, performance management, HR policies, and team member concerns while providing direction and support to the HR team. The Human Resources Supervisor serves as a key resource for property leaders, helps ensure consistent HR practices, and supports the continued development of the Human Resources team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Practice, support, and maintain the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
- Supervise the daily activities of the HR Specialist, HR Generalist, and Team Member Relations Specialist.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to HR team members.
- Partner with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on team member relations, team member concerns, performance management, and HR policies.
- Assist with prioritizing department workload and ensuring HR initiatives and daily operations are completed effectively.
- Coach and develop HR team members by providing training, feedback, and support to strengthen department knowledge and performance.
- Partner with department leaders to provide guidance and support regarding team member concerns, corrective actions, investigations, and policy interpretation.
- Lead property-level HR projects and initiatives that support operational and business goals.
- Build strong partnerships with department leaders to identify workforce needs and recommend HR solutions.
- Review and monitor HR processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with onboarding, compliance, and other HR processes while ensuring a positive team member experience.
- Support organizational change by assisting with the implementation of HR programs, process improvements, and department initiatives.
- Support property initiatives and participate in leadership meetings as assigned.
- Serve as backup to the Human Resources Manager and assist with department planning and daily operations.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive team member and business information.
- Maintain relevant knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and gaming regulations through continuing education and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- Five (5) years of HR experience, including talent acquisition, HR administration, employee performance management, and two (2) years of HCMS utilization, including compliance reporting, or a combination of the above.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a leadership, lead, or supervisory capacity preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or gaming preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, HCMS, ATS, and benefits portals. Ceridian and iCIMS experience preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational, planning, project management, and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of company internal controls, policies, and procedures.

WORK HOURS
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel is not required for this position.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License is required.
- Applicable professional certification preferred.
