Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect in React to design, build, and lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications. The role requires hands-on expertise in modern front-end engineering, component-based architecture, responsive UI development, and integration with headless, API-driven e-commerce platforms. You will own React architecture, guide the frontend team, and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.  The candidate is also expected to contribute to backend development where needed, particularly around Node.js services, API integration, and collaboration on full-stack solution design

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the React frontend development and define application architecture 
• Develop and enhance frontend features using React / Next.js, following established architecture and coding standards with command on HTLML5/CSS3
• Development of Node.js/Fastify services, focused on performance and scalability.
• Build scalable, maintainable UI solutions using modern React patterns 
• Translate business and UX requirements into clean, performant code 
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and perform code reviews 
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance 
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability 
• Collaborate closely with backend, UX, and DevOps teams 
• Optimise applications for performance, responsiveness and scalability (Core Web Vitals awareness)
• Knowledge in Playwright for end-to-end testing

Professional and Technical Skills 

• 8-10 years of frontend development experience with strong focus on React.js 
• Deep expertise in React Hooks, functional components, and component design 
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript 
• Strong experience in Node.js development, Fastify.
• Good command of React (Next.js) and SASS
• Experience with state management (Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, etc.) 
• Solid understanding of SSR, CSR, SSG, ISR, and rendering optimization 
• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, DOM, responsive design, and accessibility (a11y) 
• Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind, Bootstrap 
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and authentication 
• Testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Storybook 
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile practices, and DevOps workflows and support in the improvement
• Good understanding of best practices in SEO, performance (Core Web Vitals) and front-end optimization.
• Accessibility standards (WCAG) sensitivity, including proper use of ARIA attributes and keyboard navigation.
• Playwright's mastery for testing 
• Proven experience leading or mentoring frontend teams 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills  
• Ownership mindset with ability to work independently and cross-functionally 

Additional Information

• The ideal candidate would possess Full-stack experience with expertise in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend like Node.js
