Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control, monitor alarm systems, and support a professional, welcoming environment. Your strong communication and customer service skills will help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, maintain visitor logs, and issue temporary access credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of visitors, incidents, deliveries, and shift activities; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
