Job Summary:
The Director, Integrated GTM Campaigns is a critical leadership role responsible for creating the connective layer between Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams. This leader will translate product innovation, market priorities, and customer needs into compelling, consumable initiatives, integrated campaigns, and sales plays that improve customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and measurable commercial performance.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Partners, the Director will establish a global GTM operating rhythm and provide repeatable campaign direction, messaging architecture, and campaign playbooks. Regional Field Marketing and Commercial teams will localize, execute, and optimize these programs based on market needs. Until the team is fully built, this leader will balance strategic leadership with selective hands-on execution while establishing the operating model and scaling capability over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Global GTM Strategy and Commercial Alignment
Build authentic, trusted relationships with Product Management; Content, Digital, Social, Events, and Field Marketing; and Commercial leaders across Inside Sales, Mid-Market Sales, Enterprise Sales, and Account Management in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
Understand commercial priorities, product capabilities, roadmap opportunities, buyer personas, and market needs, and translate them into integrated acquisition, expansion, retention, and product-market education initiatives.
Establish and run a regular operating rhythm with Product, Marketing, and Commercial leadership around major plays, customer priorities, campaign performance, and optimization opportunities.
Act as a consultative advisor and domain expert, helping stakeholders connect product capabilities to business problems, competitive positioning, buyer needs, and differentiated value.
Integrated Campaign Design and Orchestration
Co-design global integrated demand generation campaigns and sales plays with Product, Commercial, and regional Marketing teams across account-based marketing, events, webinars, multi-touch nurture, digital, social, content, competitive response, customer-tier, and product launch initiatives.
Own global campaign briefs, messaging architecture, audience and persona strategy, calls to action, campaign playbooks, and success measures, enabling regional teams to localize and execute effectively.
Coordinate with Field Marketing and specialist Marketing functions on execution, creative, targeting, channel mix, and market adaptation. This role sets the global framework and interlock; Field Marketing owns regional activation and the day-to-day regional marketing-sales relationship.
Establish repeatable GTM methodologies and campaign frameworks that improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness while enabling local experimentation.
Support both net-new acquisition and expansion, adoption, and retention across a complex, multi-product portfolio with differing ACVs, buying motions, use cases, and customer profiles.
Team Leadership and Capability Development
As Altus Group grows, build, mentor, and develop a distributed global team of campaign strategists and program managers, with clear accountability for programs, regions, or lines of business.
Create clear interfaces across Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital, Content, Social, Events, Design, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, and Commercial teams to reduce duplication and clarify decision rights.
Build practical team capability in integrated campaign planning, modern GTM methods, commercial acumen, analytics, and responsible use of AI/Gen AI.
Measurement, Insights, and Optimization
Partner with Field Marketing and operations to establish an integrated reporting cadence and assess pipeline contribution, revenue influence, win rates, expansion impact, campaign efficiency, and overall performance.
Use performance data and commercial feedback to optimize campaign strategy, messaging, audience segmentation, targeting, channel mix, and field execution.
Apply testing and multi-touch analysis where appropriate, while balancing quantitative performance with market feedback, product priorities, and sales insight.
Provide regular, actionable reporting on campaign reception, performance, lessons learned, and recommended improvements.
Key Requirements:
10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a business development, sales, client strategy, sales strategy, or closely related commercial role.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted, high-functioning relationships with senior Product, Marketing, and Commercial leaders and serve as a consultative advisor and domain expert.
Proven track record designing and executing integrated demand generation and go-to-market programs that generated measurable pipeline and revenue in a B2B technology environment.
Background in B2B software, SaaS, or technology-enabled professional services; experience marketing or selling AI-enabled solutions or services is valuable.
Strong understanding of B2B SaaS GTM motions and the commercial measures used to assess acquisition, expansion, retention, and campaign performance.
Experience managing, developing, and scaling teams .
Comfort operating selectively hands-on in campaign execution while also leading, coaching, and scaling a team.
Ability to partner with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, FP&A, and analytics teams to interpret performance data and translate insights into campaign improvements.
Practical experience applying AI/Gen AI to improve GTM planning, targeting, content development, campaign execution, efficiency, or effectiveness.
Strong command of modern marketing and sales technology, including CRM, marketing automation, ABM platforms, and intent data tools.
Highly creative, strategic, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a complex global matrix.
Experience leading or contributing to global or multi-regional marketing strategy and operations.
Experience marketing or selling complex, multi-product portfolios with differing ACVs, buying motions, use cases, customer profiles, and customer segments.
Track record supporting expansion, upsell, cross-sell, adoption, retention, or customer success marketing programs.
