Description
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Head Office reporting: Assisting in month end close related activities including posting accounting entries and responding to queries raised on month end closing related activities.
- Local regulatory reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports to regulators.
- Invoice processing: Assisting in processing vendor payments.
- Treasury management: Monitor cash flow, working capital management and coordinate with banks for fixed deposit placement/maturity etc.
- Financial Analysis: Performing expense analysis and ensuring proper accounting of all operating expenses.
- Audit support: Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Tax Compliance: Manage timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes) and ensure compliance with applicable laws including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or recognized professional accounting qualification in finance discipline.
- 5 – 7 years of working experience in accounting and financial reporting in multinational corporations preferred.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent skills in Microsoft excel.
- Working knowledge in local tax areas.
- Hands on knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and multi tasking skills.
- Able to work independently and attention to details.
