Dow Thailand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Sales Specialist, located in Bangkok office. This position is responsible for growing and nurturing existing customer relationships by selling new and existing products, as well as generating new customers, through a fully digitalized customer experience. Key objective is to maintain and grow in alignment to the sales goals and marketing plan. Accountable for processes and tasks inherent in the sales process, including actioning leads and onboarding new customers, educating and positioning customers to partner with Dow through digital channels, and leveraging industry & product knowledge to drive sales. This role typically handles medium/large accounts and distribution. Customer portfolio mostly consisting of foundational customers. The scope is typically regional, product driven sales and can be market segment specific or cross-market-segments.

Responsibilities and Tasks
* Account Management
- Build strong customer relationships through digital channels and virtual partnership.
- Lead price/volume negotiations with customers.
- Communicate product availability and lead times; troubleshoot availability challenges.
- Guide customers regarding options within the defined Service Offering Framework
- Gather high-level market intelligence and customer insights; share within Dow.
- Develop customer pipeline, adding new foundational customers and developing existing customers to ‘Target Growth’ or ‘Priority’.
- Lead & Opportunity Management
- Grow the portfolio by generating, triaging, routing, cross business collaboration, developing leads, and closing opportunities in line with L&OM guidelines.
- Maintain and update CRM and internal tools.
- Digital Tools and Platforms
- Act as Dow.com ambassador and drive adoption of the platform with customers. Initial Dow.com account set-up for newly onboarded customers.
- Obtain and maintain customer forecasts in OMP.
- Monitor sales vs. Forecast/plan through digital tools and take action accordingly.
- Communicate changes in sales forecasts to Product Management and Supply Chain
- Be an early adopter of new technology, support testing for optimizing commercial tools.
- Participate in Sales, Product/Marketing strategy calls to obtain business and pricing guidelines.
- Adopt Digital pricing tool to enable auto pricing.
- Support annual review of Channel purchasing strategy (direct/distribution) and segmentation.
- Support Order to Cash process to ensure correct invoices and timely payment collection.
- Proactive and prioritized business objectives with ‘owner’s mindset’ & excellent cold calling skills; self-driven and efficient
- Comfortable leading and organizing meetings with business leadership and the customer.
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Technologically savvy & data driven, early adopter of new technology.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferred a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry or engineering
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales is required.
- Fluency in English & Thai, strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in computer skills such as Microsoft office, CRM, DSR, SmartPrice, Dow.com Power BI and AI-tool proficiency preferred advantages.
- Strong experience and knowledge on any of these market segments would be an advantage: Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, I&I Cleaning, Food and Feed and Electronics Processing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Negotiation and sales tactics
- Solid understanding of products and product application rules
- Solid business and financial acumen (cost, freight, margin, etc.)

- Strong Strategic Selling and Business Development Skills with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities, expand customer portfolios, and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent Negotiation and Commercial Acumen, including experience managing pricing discussions, customer contracts, margin optimization, and sales planning.
- Customer-Centric Relationship Management, with the ability to build trusted partnerships, influence key stakeholders, and deliver exceptional customer experiences through digital and virtual engagement channels.
- Data-Driven and Technology-Savvy Mindset, leveraging CRM systems, digital sales platforms, forecasting tools, and analytics to support commercial decision-making and business growth.
- Strong Business and Market Insight, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented Leadership, demonstrating ownership, proactive problem-solving, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment.
