What a typical day looks like:
- Lead Asia regional Demand & Supply Planning activities to ensure material availability and customer fulfillment.
- Drive ITO & Inventory Optimization initiatives, balancing inventory health, service levels, and working capital objectives.
- Manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory, Aging and develop mitigation plans to minimize business risks.
- Oversee Customer Buffer Planning strategies to support service continuity and demand fluctuations.
- Drive Forecast Analytics and planning performance reviews to improve forecast accuracy and business visibility.
- Lead Critical Shortage Escalations and coordinate cross-functional actions to resolve supply constraints.
- Manage planning execution through SAP, CC, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Baan, and related planning systems.
- Establish and maintain Asia Regional Planning Governance, including KPI management, planning process standardization, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Customer Service, Procurement, Operations, and Global Planning teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Asia Planning team while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain Operations, preferably within EMS, Electronics Manufacturing, Semiconductor, or Distribution industries.
- Strong understanding of MRP logic and planning processes.
- Hands-on experience with planning and ERP systems such as BAAN, Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Solid experience in inventory management, ITO improvement, and E&O, aging control.
- Experience managing demand fluctuations, customer buffer requirements, and supply constraints in a dynamic business environment.
- Proven experience leading planning-related projects or continuous improvement initiatives, such as inventory reduction, planning process optimization, shortage recovery, or KPI improvement programs.
- Experience working closely with Customer Service, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Commercial teams to drive business results.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot, excel formulars)and experience with planning analytics and reporting.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively prioritize urgent business requirements while maintaining long-term planning objectives.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
