Core Activities
- Own the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle for assigned requisitions (15-20 unique requisitions at any one time), from requirements definition, hiring intake, sourcing, assessment & selection to onboarding.
- Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the TA process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
- Actively source passive candidates for all requisitions (using all locally available tools LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, GitHub etc.) and turn cold prospects into active candidates.
- Partner with the assigned Global Hub to convert the market intelligence and long lists provided into active candidates.
- Personally assess candidates’ competence, cultural fit and motivation, and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of internal, external, active and passive candidates.
- Promote best practice Assessment & Selection, coaching hiring managers where necessary and taking ultimate responsibility for high quality hiring decisions utilizing the Thales Assessment & Selection methodology.
- Champion compliance with Thales policies and procedures throughout the TA lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. Workday) to consistent standards across the team.
- Champion the “Direct Sourcing” model based Talent Acquisition process, clearly define Hiring Managers' roles and set performance expectations.
- Own the delivery of all Talent Acquisition activities with set perimeter to ensure targets for time to offer, time to hire, quality of hire and cost of hire standards are met and inline with Global TA KPI’s
- Ultimately accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics covering: target start dates and customer satisfaction for all hires for set perimeter..
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience & Education
Essential
- Proven strategic Talent Acquisition professional with 10+ years of experience with IT product development company.
- Extensive Direct Sourcing skills with a proven background in recruitment of passive candidates and knowledge of the latest sourcing platforms.
- Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of current organization’s core business, organization, strategic direction, challenges and aspirations, and articulate how Talent Acquisition can input and add value to these within assigned domain.
- Politically savvy, flexible and with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities and objectives.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends, create strategic action plans based on the information and gain sponsorship for these at domain board level.
- Lead, model, manage and coach the organization in best practice Assessment & Selection techniques
- Able to model desired behaviors in a corporate environment, be the ultimate role model for the team in terms of behaviors, standards and best practice.
- Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
- Strong Cultural awareness and ability to adapt approach across countries.
