Work Shift: Full-Time: 3 X 12 hrs. Days, Nights, Weekends may be required

Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Nursing Medical / Surgical UTower

The Department of Med Surge has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to work in UTower.

• The Certified Nursing Assistant performs standard patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• More specifically, the incumbent assists patients in dressing and undressing, bathing, and eating, and collects noninvasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs.
• Additionally, this employee aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures and documents patient interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:   

                                                                                                   

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification and Licensing:

• Certified Nursing Assistant and BLS certification.

Experience:

• Minimum 0 - 1 year of relevant experience.
