Description
The Associate Brand Manager is a key member of the Brand Management team responsible for supporting the development and execution of growth strategies across a portfolio of branded products. This role combines strategic planning, business analytics, innovation management, and marketing execution to drive brand health, category growth, and commercial success. The Associate Brand Manager will partner closely with Sales, Insights & Analytics, R&D, Operations, Finance, Customer Marketing, and external agency partners to identify growth opportunities, execute business initiatives, and deliver financial objectives. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, project leadership skills, consumer-centric thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $73k - $109k annually with additional bonus potential
Supports the development of annual operating plans and multi-year strategic growth plans for assigned brands and product categories.
Supports forecasting, annual planning, and performance tracking against business objectives.
Analyzes category, brand, consumer, customer, and competitive performance using Circana, syndicated data, panel data, internal sales data, and other business intelligence tools.
Identifies key drivers of sales performance, including distribution, pricing, promotion, velocity, and consumer behavior.
Leads cross-functional project management of innovation, renovation, productivity, and cost-savings initiatives from concept through commercialization.
Tracks post-launch performance and recommend actions to optimize business results.
Supports the development and execution of integrated marketing programs across consumer, shopper, retail, digital, and eCommerce channels.
Partners with internal and external agencies to develop creative assets, promotional programs, and marketing campaigns.
Supports customer meetings, business reviews, and strategic presentations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related degree required
Minimum of 2 years of business related experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry required
Experience leading and working with external agencies such as creative, media, digital, packaging, or shopper marketing agencies
Experience supporting product innovation or commercialization projects
Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct data pulls and interpret data (i.e. Circana, NieslenIQ, Numerator)
Understanding of pricing, promotion, assortment, and category management principles within CPG
Demonstrated success in leading cross functional teams and collaborating with others
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced work environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
Ability to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization and with customers
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to business meetings and/or company locations may be required
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Repetitive use of hands/fingers and ability to operate standard office equipment
Sedentary position with occasional light to moderate lifting when working in an office environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at desk, with occasional standing or walking
Requires close visual acuity to work on a computer and/or viewing data
Work performed in an office environment where temperatures variations and noise levels are minimal
