To provide operational, client servicing, and relationship support to the servicing team, ensuring timely resolution of client queries while developing the technical, advisory, and stakeholder management skills required to progress into a Relationship Manager role

Are you someone who can:

  • Support Relationship Managers in delivering a consistent and high-quality client experience across allocated portfolios.
  • Resolve routine and day-to-day client, employer, and member queries, escalating more complex matters where required.
  • Assist with the coordination and follow-through of client requests, ensuring queries are managed efficiently and resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Participate in client interactions and engagements to build exposure to the employee benefits environment.
  • Support member presentations, member education initiatives, and campaigns focused on improving member engagement and digital adoption.
  • Assist members with accessing and navigating digital platforms, including onboarding members onto the App and related self-service tools.
  • Provide language support and translation assistance where appropriate to improve member understanding and experience.
  • Prepare client correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting packs, and other servicing documentation.
  • Build technical knowledge of retirement funds, group risk products, legislation, and industry practices to support future career progression.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership in following up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure matters are resolved effectively

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
  • NQF Level 5 would be advantageous
  • 2 years' experience within Insurance

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve basic client, employer, broker, and member queries.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding actions with administrators, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft professional emails, client communications, and meeting notes.
  • Support the preparation of client reviews, reports, presentations, and governance packs.
  • Assist with member communication and education initiatives.
  • Facilitate member onboarding onto digital platforms and applications.
  • Attend client meetings and presentations as part of ongoing development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Escalate risks, trends, and service concerns to the Relationship Manager.
  • Support ad hoc projects and service improvement initiatives.
