Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring an Event Security Professional. The Event Security Professional is responsible for duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing superior customer service. Event Staff team members are also responsible for directing foot traffic, parking traffic and ensuring the cleanliness, operational efficiency and maintenance of designated areas.

This position requires working indoors/outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and inclement weather, and requires the ability to walk approximately 3–5 miles per shift over varying terrain and construction surfaces. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution
- Allow appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue
- Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events
- Initiate greetings to our guests as they arrive at the facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location
- Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain composure in challenging situations
- Ability to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer service
- Understanding of traffic management procedures and parking regulations
- Ability to enforce rules logically and apply good judgment skills
- Attentive listening skills: ability to listen to customers, offer positive solutions, and assert authority only when necessary
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
