About Your Workplace
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate, motivated and customer-focused Service Technician to join the Miele team. Equipped with a fully maintained company vehicle, specialist tools and extensive product training, you'll be out on the road delivering exceptional service to customers in their homes.
As the face of the Miele brand, you'll combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service to diagnose, repair and maintain our premium appliances. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and building strong customer relationships while representing a globally recognised premium brand known for quality, longevity and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality service repairs and fault diagnosis on Miele domestic appliances in customers' homes and occasionally in the workshop
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing professional, knowledgeable and friendly service
- Manage your daily workload efficiently to maximise productivity and achieve first-time-fix targets
- Complete service documentation, invoicing and payment processing accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain van stock, tools and company equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Resolve customer concerns in the field and escalate technical issues where required
- Continuously build technical knowledge through ongoing training and product development programs
What We Are Looking For
Must-have:
- Domestic disconnect/reconnect licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and organise your workload effectively
Nice-to-have:
- Unrestricted electrical licence
- Gas and/or refrigeration licence
- Experience servicing whitegoods, appliances or other electrical products
- Experience working in a field service environment with mobile technology and KPIs
