The E-Learning Content Creator is responsible for designing and developing structured, learner‑centric e‑learning content that supports knowledge acquisition, skill development, and compliance for both bancassurance (MCBL) and agency (Manulife Philippines) distribution channels. The role focuses on transforming learning requirements into interactive, modular, and scalable digital learning assets suitable for self‑paced and blended delivery. While specialized in e‑learning, the role aligns with common instructional and quality standards to ensure collaboration and continuity within the Digital Learning Team.
This position requires advanced expertise, independent judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of end-to-end module lifecycle management.
Position Responsibilities:
End-to-End E-Learning Content Development: Design and develop e‑learning content using established instructional design models, converting business, product, and compliance requirements into interactive digital learning flows. This includes conceptualization of content (storyboarding & scripting), development of design, and integration of gamification and assessments effective to desired overall learning experience
Multimedia Production: Create multimedia learning materials, including video tutorials, interactive simulations, e-books, infographics, and game-based courses, and finds ways to create different types of instructional media that are used within the designated learning environment
Project Management: Adhere to project timelines outlined by the project lead/manager, do a presentation and application of innovative learning media within a specified period
Content Innovation, Utilization, and Engagement Management: Find creative and engaging methods to create a digital learning environment for the Distribution team; Monitors performance of the consumption of digital learning content and adjust accordingly to improve experience and utilization
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with SMEs, Compliance, and Business Leads for content validation and adherence to standards and guidelines
Cross-Project Support: Cross-support with fellow learning content creator and align with Module Developer to ensure smooth handoff
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Insurance training, Instructional design, or Digital learning production or coordination.
Expertise in authoring tools such as Adobe Articulate, Articulate Storyline and Rise that can assemble contents to different e-learning modules or presentations, including scripting, content development, quality assessment, and deployment.
Competence in creating static and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Edge Animate, etc.), Canva, Vimeo.
Competence in using artificial intelligence in both digital content development and learner engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts or any related field
Ability to use artificial intelligence (AI) in both development of digital contents and integration within the learner development path
Deep knowledge of insurance business, products, operations, and field practices
Possesses a sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to the work being developed and delivered
Comfortable with fast-changing technology trends and evolution of strategic priorities and needs of customers, the business, and our partners
