What does a successful Azure Infrastructure Engineer do at Fiserv?

As a successful Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that these systems operate efficiently, reliably, and securely. You will work closely with a team of engineers, collaborating with various departments to align system capabilities with business needs, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals.

What you will do:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex systems infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures.

• Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning measures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.

• Conduct system assessments and implement security measures.

• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to ensure system reliability.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering.

What you will need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering

• 3+ years of experience with system design and implementation

• 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments

• 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP

• 3+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform

• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell

• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation

• Certifications AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
