Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Statham, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier resort location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and responding to alarms or access concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional service to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a residential club and hospitality-focused location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue or manage visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with guests and staff, provide directions and assistance, and report observed security-related issues according to site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
