Description
The Project Manager (PM) will partner with the client onsite team to manage both business-as-usual responsibilities and new digital initiatives across multiple projects. The Project Manager will coordinate digital solutions driven by the client and work closely with stakeholders to support the successful deployment of these solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and tracking multiple projects, maintaining project schedules, status updates, and reports to ensure timely completion. The role involves facilitating regular cadence meetings, preparing materials, and proactively surfacing project challenges with proposed solutions for escalation where necessary.
- The Project Manager will manage contracts and support procurement activities including renewals, licences, drafting of Approval of Requirements (AOR), and verification of vendor invoices. Close coordination with vendors will be required to monitor delivery, clarify requirements, and ensure performance against agreed timelines and service levels.
- Additional responsibilities include tracking budget utilisation and scope changes, driving user engagement throughout the project lifecycle (including UAT coordination and SLA follow-up), and interfacing with client stakeholders to gather requirements and support change management. The role also encompasses project compliance duties such as monthly Access Control List reviews, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing frequency adherence, and coordination of audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics
- Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager across at least two full project development life cycles, including at least one using Agile methodology.
- Strong vendor management and interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of emerging technologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in basic Procurement handling (e.g. call tender or do tender presentations).
- Experience handling projects involving Cloud, Design Thinking, Data Analytics, or
- Product-Centric Development.
- Project management certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, or PMP.
- Agile-related certifications such as Certified Scrum Master
