Commercial Banking Intern - Treasury Management

The Commercial Banking Intern is responsible for assisting the Commercial Banking department with various tasks required to support the company’s mission of providing quality services to customers.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supports Commercial Banking, Commercial Credit and retail Sales departments by working on projects; assists with assigned tasks across the entire department including financial analysis, data analysis, sales call preparation and participation, proposal, and underwriting.
2. Assists with general activities including but not limited to processing any activity required per the company’s mission.
3. Performs other duties as assigned which may include any task required to support the company’s mission of providing quality financial services to our customers.
4. Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise

1. Experience in accounting in financial services or banking is preferred.
2. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. 

Education and Experience

1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
2. Certification: None.
3. Years of experience: 0 to 2 years is required.
4. Years of experience supervising: None.

Physical Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
• -2This position is performed in an office setting, 1-2 days a week in the office and the rest of the week remote, with typical work hours being Monday through Friday 8.30a through 5.15p.
