Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technicians to join our Executive Fleet team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft fuel systems, to include Engine Feed, Fuel Transfer, Fuel Indicating, Fuel Dump/Vent, Refuel/Defuel systems as well as External fuel tanks
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, replace aircraft fuel components and systems and perform operational checks
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, technical orders, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve fuel system reliability and performance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fuel system status
- Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., necessary to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements
- Support aircraft readiness and mission requirements by ensuring fuel systems are fully operational
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
- Assist other team members (Avionics, Structures, Electrical) to ensure cost/schedule targets are met
This position requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 4+ years of experience working as a Fuel Systems Technician/Mechanic
- 4+ years of experience in working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods during shift
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with operations or maintenance of Executive Fleet Aircraft
- Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance
- Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $79,000 / $37.98 per hour
