Job Description:

Microchip’s Corporate Design Automation (DA) team in Chennai is looking for a Software Engineer to do web design. A successful candidate in this role will design, implement, and test new web pages and edit existing web portals. Candidate will interact with stakeholders across the globe to understand the requirements and provide deliverables. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask, and an ability to work independently and on a team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualified applicants will possess the following experience:  

• Strong working knowledge on Python and Django Web Framework.
• Strong working knowledge on web page development – HTML, CSS, JQuery/TypeScript, React, Next.js.  
• Strong knowledge on Web UI design.  
• Working knowledge on relational databases especially PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments.  
• Working knowledge on AI/ML.
• Self-motivated team player.  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.  
• Experience with Python-based AI libraries would be a plus.
   

Education: B. E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Experience: 2 – 5 yrs.
