We Require
Two years of administrative experience
High school diploma or GED
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualification on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Bi-lingual
Experience working as an administrative assistant
Experience with government agencies
Job Contributions
Assist Customers at the Planning and Development reception area or over the phone
Gather Relevant information from customers and call down the appropriate on-call team member
Provide online guidance for setting up accounts, uploading revised plans, and/or online payments within the Planning and Development Permitting System
Provide administrative support to divisions by returning email/phone inquiries to customers
Provide administrative support to divisions by processing permit extensions, cancellations, and modifications within the Planning and Development Permitting System
Provide administrative support to the Management Analyst as requested
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time
Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
