Description
Are you a finance professional with experience in fixed asset accounting and a collaborative leadership approach? Do you enjoy guiding teams, ensuring accurate delivery, and working with stakeholders across countries and functions? If so, you may be the R2R Manager we are looking for.
In the role of R2R Manager in our Global Business Services organization, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will manage the day-to-day delivery of fixed asset and project-related accounting activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and compliance across the full asset lifecycle, from Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and capitalization through depreciation, disposal, and retirement.
The Team you will be part of:
You will join our Finance Operations team in Warsaw, which supports GN’s global business through standardized and efficient accounting processes. The team works closely with colleagues across Finance and business functions worldwide to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.
We promote a collaborative and supportive environment where knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and professional growth are valued. We support one another, share good practices, and work towards shared objectives.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Manage and support the day-to-day work of the Fixed Assets & Projects accounting team, setting clear priorities and ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery.
Guide, develop, and provide regular feedback to team members, promoting accountability, knowledge sharing, and a collaborative team environment.
Ensure the timely completion of fixed asset and project accounting activities, including month-end depreciation runs and fixed asset sub-ledger close in line with agreed timelines.
Oversee the Fixed Asset Register and ensure assets are accurately created, capitalized, depreciated, transferred, disposed of, or retired in accordance with accounting standards and approval requirements.
Ensure CWIP asset creation, asset and project capitalization requests, capitalization values, useful-life calculations, and project-cost allocations are processed accurately.
Perform and coordinate periodic CWIP ageing reviews; work with asset owners, requestors, and local teams to obtain justification and ensure appropriate capitalization or retirement actions.
Review asset master data changes, oversee adjustments from physical verification activities, support revaluation and impairment analysis, and identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Bring experience managing or coordinating accounting activities and supporting others to deliver quality outcomes, preferably within fixed assets, projects, or Record-to-Report accounting.
Have a sound understanding of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, CWIP, depreciation, transfers, disposals, write-offs, and relevant local and global accounting standards.
Apply a structured approach to planning work, managing month-end priorities, monitoring delivery, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
May have experience working in a multinational, Global Business Services, or Shared Service Centre environment, using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Communicate proficiently in English and work well with colleagues and stakeholders across functions, countries, and seniority levels.
At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible work whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.
We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
