CKD USA Corporation is looking for a dynamic local candidate in Schaumburg, IL area. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately receive, ship, and inventory all products for CKD USA’s business operations. Follow customer shipping requirements and processes. 

• Position Requirements:
• Verify, inspect, and enter receipt of incoming shipment into the computer system.
• Package, wrap, vacuum seal, and box materials for shipping.
• Pull and prepare stock items accurately, verifying identifying information and quantities.
• Prepare shipment of non-stock orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities.
• Manually, or using hand truck, load and unload goods onto trucks as needed and perform various material handling duties in the facility.
• Process jobs via computer system(s).
• File documentation in accordance with department procedures.
• Notifying inside sales/customer service when parts are not on shelf.
• Notify supervisor when parts are not on shelf to fill order, to fill out inventory adjustment form.
• Schedule shipment pick up as needed.
• Perform the safe day to day activities of the warehouse while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Achieve all product movement as directed by CKD Corporation, CKD USA management, and customer requirements.
• Support inside and outside sales departments within CKD USA, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Implement corrective actions if deficiencies arise.  
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design, and recommending improvements. 
• Assist with warehouse and minor building maintenance. 
• Operate material handling equipment, i.e., forklift, pallet jack.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts for certain products. 
• Work to continuously improve all warehouse functions. 
• Present a positive and respectful professional image towards co-workers and customers; lead by example and follow established policies and processes.  
• Make sound business decisions based on the best interest and goals of CKD USA. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

 Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of previous warehouse experience required.
• knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Familiar with outbound shipping
• Able to work as a team or independently.
• Good English communication skills – both written and verbal. 
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment, Forklift Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of PC and business enterprise software. Knowledge/hands-on experience with Dynamics or other Inventory Management software applications a plus
• Follow safety rules.
• Good housekeeping practices.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds of weight.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent industry experience.

Vision Demands:The vision demands for this job require, close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment Requirements:The environmental conditions are that of a warehouse environment, forklift is used, lift truck and packaging equipment, working near moving equipment and mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration conditions are possible less than 1/3 of the time. Noise Level:The noise level can vary from low to moderate similar to any warehouse environment.
