Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (up to 24 months)
Shift Pattern: Night Shift

Join us and make a difference when it matters most

At Mundipharma, we are committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products that improve patients' lives. As part of an exciting phase of growth within our Filling & Packaging operations, we are seeking motivated and reliable operators to support the continued supply of commercial products while our permanent colleagues undertake training on newly installed manufacturing assets.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative manufacturing environment and play an important role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient production operations during a significant business transformation programme.

Role Purpose

This is a fixed-term, project-linked position established exclusively to support continuity of supply on Bard's existing Filling & Packaging (F&P) lines during the Expansion Training Workstream.

The role has been created to ensure uninterrupted operation of designated legacy packaging lines while permanent operators are released to complete training and qualification activities on new expansion assets, including Lines 24, 25, 26 and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of legacy packaging equipment, ensuring products are packaged in accordance with approved specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and quality requirements.

This role is strictly limited to legacy production assets. The post-holder will not be trained, assessed, qualified, deployed, or rostered on any expansion line or associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the set-up, start-up, operation, and changeover of designated legacy Filling & Packaging lines in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Accurately complete batch documentation and production records to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify abnormalities, and escalate issues promptly to minimise downtime and support Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Ensure commercial products are packaged in line with approved specifications, packaging instructions, and GMP standards.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and ensure all product quality requirements are maintained throughout packaging activities.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping through active participation in 5S, GEMBA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support line cleaning, batch clearance, reconciliation, and equipment preparation activities to ensure operational readiness.
  • Communicate effectively during shift handovers and collaborate with colleagues across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Maintain compliance with all assigned training requirements relevant to the legacy-line scope.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environmental (HS&E), Quality, and Company policies at all times.

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging environment.
  • Requires adherence to GMP, SOPs, and all applicable safety requirements.
  • Night shift working pattern.

Fixed-Term Project Nature of the Role

Key conditions of the role include:

  • The role exists solely to support legacy production operations during the expansion training programme.
  • The contract is expected to continue for up to 24 months and will end upon completion of the Expansion Training Workstream, which is the specific project event linked to the fixed-term contract.

You will be a safety-conscious, quality-focused individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while contributing positively to production performance and patient supply.
