Wieland is hiring a Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing supplies and materials, controlling related inventory, maintain required records for audit purposes, assist in the operation and coordination of records. This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $23.00/per hour with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)
Pay Schedule: Biweekly
Responsibilities
Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:
- Controls inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans
- Monitors and updates master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls
- Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules that determine reorder levels and ensure production availability and minimize inventory costs
- Maintains and updates inventory system
- Creates and reviews reports to identify trends or issues and to support or initiate actions and adjustments
- Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
- Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
- Create an efficient space utilization plan
- Notify Purchasing Dept. of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
Inventory Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field plus 2+ years of experience in inventory managementOR; 8 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Power Industrial Truck license and usage will be required.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to meet required deadlines
