Job Description
Join ACCIONA on a flagship WA infrastructure project, with first production set for 2028. Long term work, strong job security and real career runway as more works get awarded.
The Project
The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role
You'll install, maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment across the site, including the seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, pump systems and groundwater infrastructure. Day to day, you'll read and work from technical drawings, fit and align rotating equipment, and work alongside boilermakers, electricians and other trades to keep the job on track.
Required Skills and Competencies
What you need
Trade qualification as a mechanical fitter, or equivalent hands on experience
Solid understanding of pumps, valves and rotating equipment
A genuine safety first attitude
Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects, highly regarded
