Description

Administrator Home Health

Leading Faith-Based, Not-for-Profit Health System | Home Health Services

Greater Orlando & Central Florida Markets | Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site

COMPENSATION: $97,219 – $181,835 + Executive Benefits Package

You did not take a home health leadership job to spend your week defending a rate cut. Between the fourth straight year of Medicare payment reductions, a value-based purchasing model that swings 5% of revenue in either direction, and a vacancy report that never gets shorter, the job quietly turned into damage control.

This role is different. It’s the chance to lead a home health operation backed by the infrastructure, mission clarity, and financial strength of a 100,000-employee health system—where your strategic vision is resourced, your clinical teams are supported, and your impact reaches across two of Florida’s largest and fastest-growing healthcare markets.

Our client — a Glassdoor “Best Places to Work” honoree and one of the largest faith-based not-for-profit health systems in the country — is hiring an Administrator to run its Orlando home health agency: roughly 1,300 average daily census, about 150 FTEs, delivering skilled multidisciplinary care across Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Executive Authority with Enterprise Backing — You won’t fight for resources or justify your existence. You will lead with the full operational and financial support of a $23B+ health system that has invested heavily in care-at-home expansion, giving you the infrastructure to execute your vision—not just cope with constraints.

Meaningful Scale Without Bureaucratic Isolation — Oversee 17 locations across two major Florida markets with direct access to health system leadership. This is multi-site executive leadership with a clear reporting structure, not a siloed administrator buried under corporate layers.

Mission-Driven Culture, Not Just a Tagline — This organization’s whole-person care philosophy is embedded in every operational decision. Certified as a Great Place to Work® and named to Fortune’s Most Innovative Companies list, the culture is measurable—not aspirational.

Clinical Innovation Over Regulatory Survival — While competitors scramble to absorb PDGM adjustments, this system has the data infrastructure, OASIS expertise, and value-based care capabilities to turn regulatory shifts into competitive advantages. You’ll drive quality improvement, not just compliance.

Stability in a Volatile Industry — Benefits from day one, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions, four weeks of 100% paid parental leave, and up to $21,000 in tuition assistance. The organization invests in retention because it values long-term leadership—not revolving-door management.

Work-Life Integration at the Executive Level — A day-shift, on-site role with a schedule designed for sustainability. You’ll lead with predictability and purpose in two of Florida’s most desirable metro areas—not clock endless hours compensating for understaffed operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all home health services across the Greater Orlando and Tampa Bay markets, driving strategy, growth, and market expansion.

• Develop, execute, and monitor facility and departmental budgets to ensure appropriate staffing levels, professional development, and resource allocation aligned with organizational goals.

• Implement and drive quality initiatives targeting top-quartile performance on clinical outcomes, patient experience (HHCAHPS), and HHVBP measures.

• Ensure full compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, PDGM requirements, OASIS data collection standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

• Lead innovative care model development and deployment to improve the care-at-home experience for patients and families, leveraging the health system’s enterprise data and technology platforms.

• Build and execute workforce plans including succession planning, talent development, mentoring, and diversity initiatives to sustain a high-performing, engaged team.

• Collaborate with business unit partners, physician networks, and community stakeholders to establish comprehensive market-based services and referral relationships.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a healthcare-related field, OR four (4) or more years of equivalent experience in lieu of the degree
  • ACTIVE Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT) — this is a hard gate; dual-track sourcing required
  • Five (5)+ years of progressive experience managing home-based care or healthcare operations
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise, communication skills and community-facing leadership presence
  • Florida Level 2 background screening with fingerprinting (state statutory requirement for home health personnel)

Preferred

  • BLS / CPR certification
  • Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, MPH)
  • Prior Medicare-certified, multi-county or multi-site home health leadership at 500+ ADC
  • Faith-based, non-profit or large integrated health system background
  • CHAP, ACHC or Joint Commission survey leadership experience
