Position Summary:
About the Practice
We are standing up a new Digital Advisory practice — including a value-added reseller (VAR) practice — to help middle-market clients modernize their core business systems and get measurable value from technology. We advise, select, implement, and optimize modern ERP and connected business platforms, and we go deep in four verticals: healthcare, construction, not-for-profit, and manufacturing. Deep, industry-specific expertise is central to how we differentiate — we serve clients as specialists who understand their business, not generalists — so relevant experience in these industries is highly valued across every role.
This is a build-from-the-ground-up opportunity. As a founding member of the practice you will help shape our service offerings, delivery methodology, partner alliances, and culture — with the backing, brand, and client base of an established firm behind you. We are in the process of selecting our anchor platform partners from among the leading mid-market ERP and business-application publishers, and early team members will help define that ecosystem.
Role Summary
The Solution Architect / Delivery Lead is the technical and delivery cornerstone of the practice. You own how we design and deliver — translating client business requirements into modern ERP and connected system architectures, and standing up the methodology, tooling, and quality standards that let us deliver repeatably and profitably. Early on you will be hands-on across sales support, solutioning, and delivery; over time you will build and lead a team of consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Solutioning & Architecture
Lead requirements discovery and design solution architectures across ERP, CRM, and connected business applications, mapped to client outcomes.
Serve as the trusted technical advisor in the sales cycle — leading demos, scoping, estimating, and statement-of-work definition alongside the business development team.
Evaluate and recommend platforms across our forming partner ecosystem based on fit for the client and vertical, and help shape the practice’s platform strategy.
Delivery Leadership
Own end-to-end delivery quality: project architecture, implementation approach, and the responsible use of AI and automation in delivery.
Build and continuously refine the practice delivery methodology, accelerators, and reusable assets.
Manage utilization, margins, and delivery risk across a growing project portfolio.
Mentor, and eventually hire and lead, a team of functional and technical consultants.
Qualifications
Required
8+ years implementing mid-market or enterprise ERP and connected business systems, with several years in a lead architect or delivery-lead capacity.
Demonstrated ownership of full-lifecycle implementations, from discovery through go-live and optimization.
Deep hands-on expertise in one or more leading mid-market ERP platforms, and the ability to learn and adopt new platforms quickly.
Deep, demonstrable expertise in at least one of our target industries — healthcare, construction, not-for-profit, or manufacturing — with the business-process fluency to advise clients as an industry specialist.
Excellent client-facing communication and the credibility to advise executive stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience in a consulting, VAR, or systems-integrator environment, ideally helping build or scale a practice.
Relevant ERP platform certifications; project--oriented and product-oriented ERP experiences are a plus.
Familiarity with applying AI/automation to accelerate implementation and delivery.
CPA or MBA
Compensation
Target base salary range of $150,000–$190,000, plus a practice performance bonus tied to delivery and practice growth. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Discretionary incentive compensation is based on firm, group, and individual performance.
