Working Schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week (60 hours per week)

Position Overview

On behalf of our client, a leading EPC contractor in the oil & gas industry, we are seeking an experienced Equipment Superintendent to join the FPSO Project in Nantong, China.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and controlling all site mechanical and equipment activities, ensuring that safety, quality, and project schedules are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate, and oversee mechanical and equipment works, focusing on package and machinery scopes.

• Supervise subcontractors and direct hire teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and work schedules.

• Manage inspections, quality control plans, and testing of equipment and mechanical systems.

• Monitor site progress, address technical issues, and drive productivity and efficiency improvements.

• Coordinate with vendors, specialists, and other project stakeholders during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.

• Oversee all documentation related to mechanical and equipment works, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Guarantee Mechanical Completion certification and timely clearance of punch lists prior to handover.

Candidate Requirements

• FPSO project experience is mandatory.

• Strong background in large-scale EPC, oil & gas, or offshore construction projects.

• Previous experience in similar roles such as Equipment Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, Yard Superintendent, Rotating Equipment Supervisor, or Mechanical Supervisor.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
